Ja, manchmal dauert es etwas länger… Ganze sechs Jahre sind zwischen dem ersten und dem letzten Ton der aktuellen Produktion vergangen. Zusammen mit Drummer Andi Hinz und Bassistin Corinne Xénia Lüönd habe ich mich 2019 im Soundvalley Studio bei David Bollinger eingefunden, um die ersten Spuren aufzunehmen. Ein Song aus dieser Session, Free, wurde 2020 veröffentlicht. Zwei andere Stücke lagen vorerst auf der Festplatte und fielen dem digitalen Staub anheim. Doch die Ideen rumorten weiter im Hinterkopf, und bahnten sich ihren Weg zurück an die Oberfläche, und ein paar Jahre und zahlreiche Umwege sind die Songs endlich fertiggestellt. Neben dem bekannten Trio sind nun auch eine Hornsection (Beat Bossart, Urs Bossart und Sergio Zordan), sowie Keyboards und Vocals von Saïd Boulahcen zu hören. Wild Dog und Song About You machen sich wunderbar als Soundtrack zum Comeback dieses Sommers.
